IT is immaculately clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. Wow, Wow, Wow!! The Most Outstanding Place to be on MauiĮverything was absolutely perfect!! We saw whales every day and they are visible from every room in the Villa. I cannot express how difficult it is to leave - this place truly felt like home in every sense of the word and I know we will be back. The views are truly outstanding from literally EVERY room - the pictures just do not do it justice. They swim in very shallow waters there and even come up on the beach sometimes. We also took a whale watching tour, but we found the best whale watching is right from the villa (I'm not kidding!) We also loved watching the turtles at the west end of Oneola right in front of the condo.
Our best excursions were to Kapalua Beach for snorkeling (drive or walk) and to the Old Lahaina Luau. John in the USVI, and I will say that this Villa is first class all the way. We have rented villas on other islands, such as St. Thanks to Patty's recommendation of stopping at Costco on the way in (we also got a great deal on our rental car through Costco) we were able to cook or heat up many meals right in the villa, avoiding most of the high priced Maui dining experiences. You have everything you need to enjoy your time in Maui (insulated beach bag, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella). We were VERY happy with everything in this condo. This unit is PERFECTION! We spoke with a few individuals staying in the area at other units, and the accommodations in these villas can vary greatly. Kapalua Bay Villas is a wonderful place to stay - the location is great with proximity to the gorgeous coastal trail, community amenities, etc.

The unit itself is immaculately clean with every attention to detail. And, on our last trip, two years ago, we were able to watch the whales everyday from the villa. During this trip, we were able to see many sea turtles, from our villa, swimming close to shore. My kids had a great time down on the beach with the boogie boards, as well as hiking on the trails and going tide pooling. It was also very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit as well. The villa is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and binoculars. The views are breathtaking from every window. The pictures of this villa do not do it justice. This is our second time staying here, and it has been just as good the second time around. We have vacationed in Maui many times, but this villa by far, has been our favorite place to stay. On a budget?
